Pool Houses & Cabanas

The finishing touch on your outdoor living space. Bathroom, bar, changing area, guest retreat.

What We Build

Pool Houses & Cabanas

A pool house is a detached structure near your swimming pool. A cabana is more open-air with covered seating and basic electrical. A pool house is enclosed, insulated, and finished with a bathroom, changing area, and wet bar or kitchenette. At the top end, a pool house becomes a guest retreat with sleeping space, full kitchen, and living area.

Who It's For

Is This Your Space?

For pool owners who want their backyard to feel like a resort. If you're tired of wet footprints through the house, or you want to entertain poolside without running inside every 10 minutes, a pool house is the answer. It's also the natural bridge to Blue Tide Exteriors' pool and outdoor kitchen services.

Why Custom

Not a Kit. Not a Metal Box.

A pool house needs to handle humidity, wet feet, and chlorine exposure. We use moisture-resistant materials, proper drainage, and ventilation designed for a poolside environment. The design should complement both your pool and your home, not look like an afterthought shed dropped beside the deck.

Questions

Common Questions

Can Blue Tide Exteriors build the pool too?

Yes. Blue Tide Exteriors builds gunite and vinyl liner pools. If you're building a pool and a pool house together, we coordinate both under one project, which saves on shared site prep and utility work.

What's the difference between a cabana and a pool house?

A cabana is open-air with a roof and maybe a fan and changing curtain. A pool house is fully enclosed, insulated, and finished with a bathroom and kitchen facilities. Adding a bathroom is the single biggest jump from cabana to pool house.

Can a pool house be used as a guest house?

Yes. If you add a sleeping area and full kitchen, a pool house becomes a guest house and may qualify as an ADU. We can design it to serve both functions.
